Traveling to the Future

 

If I was able to go to the future I would probably choose to go to the moment in which we're finally able to travel through the univers but not to near pleaces, to far places within the cosmos so I could experience what distant crazy planets feel like. I would love to be able to get to know types of intelligent life on other planets since I'm sure they exist and meeting them would change every single thing about us. I'm especially interested in the way in which art would change once we met alien life or getting to know art from other planets, just thinking about it leaves me amazed. I also would like to time travel to the moment in which humanity finally goes extinct because I feel like that would be a really impactful thing to witness. I would'nt want to stay in any of those moments though because I think I would really miss my family and Friends and just wouldnt feel as comfortable I feel in this time. Having said that, if I only had the choice to travel to the future if I stayed over there then I would probaly choose to travel to the most happy moment in the future because then I would be happy too. It may seem like a really obvious statement but for me it makes sense.

My favourite hobby

  I think my favourite hobby is playing guitar. I started learning to play it when I was thirteen with a private teacher that was blind and had a perfect ear, but I only lasted some months with her because from then on I simply enjoyed playing the songs I liked and not practicing the academical way. I've been playing for many years now and the thing I mostly enjoy and am thankful for is the ability to write songs. I would go as far as saying nothing really feels as good in my life as writing a song because the moment in which it happens is just magical and makes me forget everything else in life. I believe I have a few songs that are pretty good but I don't really like showing them to people because I get too nervous. I have a band now though and we have been playing some of my songs so that really makes me happy. I hope I play for many years more and when I'm an old grandpa I'm still writing songs like when I started. @gabrielnoesta

The Velvet Underground

  On my free themed post I would like to talk about a band I really like called the Velvet Underground. They're a New York rock band from the sixties famous for partnering with Andy Warhol and publishing the album with a banana as a cover. When they were active they never really gained much recognition but nowadays they are canonized as one of the most influential bands of all time and the fathers of alternative rock having been inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The reason I like them so much is because they express a type of music and rock and roll that talks about outsiders and people that dont fit within the established culture in an artsy and cool way. When I listen to them I feel like I understand a secret about life that only them and the other people that understand velvet undrground can really relate to. A country i would like to visit

I would love to get to visit the USA at some point in my life. I know life there must be really different from what TV shows make it look like but I would just love to go to New  York City and visit all the galleries and museums I could. Or to walk through Central Park and Manhattan and feel the city buzzing and being alive. New York is known for not only being the capital of the world but also the art capital of the world, so that for me are already reason enough for me to want to go there. On a more specific note I would love to go visit the John Lennon memorial in Central Park (image attached) and the Dakota Building where he used to live, since I´m a huge fan of his. I would love to go to LA too, visit the sunny beaches and go to clubs to listen to new bands. Or to drive through sunset boulevard and be in the same places where many of my idols have been too. Plus, the universities are really great in the USA so I would love to study there although maybe I wouldn't be able to ad...
